Its core businesses comprise manufacturing and administering life and pensions products in the United Kingdom and related international markets. This encompasses the United Kingdom protection market, United Kingdom group pensions and vesting annuity market, and international savings and investments, pensions and protection markets. Friends Provident Life and Pensions Limited has a branch office in Guernsey. Friends Provident International Limited, which is based in the Isle of Man, has branches in Dubai, Hong Kong and Singapore. In July 2009, the Company completed the demerger of its interest in F&C Asset Management plc. In November 2009, Resolution Holdings (UK) Limited, a subsidiary of Resolution Limited, acquired Friends Provident Group plc.
