G4S plc, formerly Group 4 Securicor plc, is a United Kingdom-based company that operates in two core product areas: secure solutions and cash solutions. The Company is engaged in the provision of secure solutions, including risk consultancy, secure facility outsourcing, manned security, security systems, landmine clearance, training and response services, and care and justice services. The cash solutions division provides a range of services focused on the transportation, storage and management of cash and valuables on behalf of banks, retailers and other customers. G4S has operations in over 110 countries. In October 2009, G4S plc acquired an 83% shareholding in Control Systems Argentina S.A. In November 2009, the Company acquired Adesta LLC and Adesta LP, (Adesta) from McCarthy Group, Inc.
