Great China Mania Holdings, Inc. (GMEC), formerly Great East Bottles & Drinks (China) Holdings, Inc, incorporated on July 8, 1983, through its subsidiaries, engaged in the provision artiste and project management services; publication of magazines; retail operation of video games and accessories, and investment activities. GMEC is an electronic content provider that creates and provides leisure and lifestyle-related electronic content to Hong Kong, Macau and China. It organizes artists to participate in movies, event management, and promotion for its clients. The Company publishes eight weekly or bi-weekly magazines that focus on computer technologies, video games, digital equipment, and automobiles. It operates two retail stores to sell video game machines, as well as video games and accessories. On March 31, 2011, the Company disposed of Water Scientific Holdings Limited.
GMEC owns a wholly owned subsidiary, Sharp Achieve Holdings Limited (BVI). Sharp Achieve Holdings Limited (BVI) has a wholly owned subsidiary, Super China Global Limited (BVI). Super China Global Limited has four subsidiaries: GME Holdings Limited (GMEH), which was incorporated on February 18, 2011, and is focused on artiste and project management services; Great China Media Limited (GCM), which was incorporated on February 1, 2011, and it is focused on publication of magazines; Great China Games Limited (GCG),which was incorporated on February 1, 2011, and is focused on retail operation of video games and accessories, GMEC Ventures Limited, which was incorporated on June 1, 2011, which is engaged in investment holding.
Great China Media Limited (GCM)
GCM is an electronic content provider within GMEC. It is located and operated in Hong Kong. Through GCM, the Company targets Hong Kong’s electronic content market through provision of content in the form of electronic magazines and auxiliary products. Through GCM, it provides mainly three products: electronic content in the form of electronic magazines, traditional magazines and advertisement. As of December 31, 2011, GCM published seven electronic weekly / bi - weekly magazines. Customers can subscribe to its electronic magazines directly through data portal Websites like 24reader, HGC broadband and I - read using traditional computers, iphones, iPads and Android handsets and tablets. Its electronic magazines are also available to customers through their cell phone operators. In order to utilize the electronic contents that GCM has produced, it has also made available this content in traditional paper magazines.
GME Holdings Limited (GMEH)
GMEH is an artist management company, which is locates and operates in Hong Kong. Through GMEH, the Company managed 20 female artists and four male artists, as of December 31, 2011. These artists primarily work in the Hong Kong, China, Malaysia and Australian markets. The Company arranges its artists to participate in the activities, which directly or indirectly complement to its business of electronic contents provisions, which include movie productions, promotional events for brands and institutional customers, music and record productions, and artist-related merchandising.
Great China Games Limited (GCG)
GCG operates two retail shops in Hong Kong selling video game machines, including, but not limited to, Play Station, Nintendo Wii, and Xbox, and associated video games. Through GCG, it target Hong Kong’s online and offline video games market. With support of GCM, GCG is the official reseller of Microsoft Xbox360 and Monster Cable in Hong Kong.
The Company competes with Next Media Limited and New Media Group Holdings Limited Hong Kong.
