The products are used in and around industrial, commercial and institutional facilities by electrical contractors, maintenance personnel, electricians and telecommunications companies. Its businesses also design and manufacture various high-voltage test and measurement equipment, industrial controls and communication systems used in the non-residential and industrial markets. Its harsh and hazardous products are used in the oil and gas (onshore and offshore) and mining industries. It also offers various lighting fixtures, wiring devices and electrical products, which have residential and utility applications. The Company's products are sold through electrical and industrial distributors, home centers, retail and hardware outlets, lighting showrooms and residential product-oriented Internet sites.
The Company's application products cater to contractors, industrial customers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The Company designs, manufactures and sells various wiring and electrical products, which are supplied to industrial, non-residential and residential customers. Its products include cable reels, wiring devices and accessories, junction boxes, plugs and receptacles, cable glands and fittings, switches and dimmers, datacom connectivity and enclosures, connectors and tooling, pin and sleeve devices, communications equipment, floor boxes, electrical motor controls, high-voltage test systems, ground fault devices, steel and plastic enclosures, and mining communication and controls. Its wiring and electrical products are sold under various brands, including Hubbell, Bell, Victor, Rig Power, Kellems, TayMac, GAI-Tronics, Powerohm, Bryant, Wiegmann, Gleason Reel, Chalmit, Burndy, Killark, Haefely, Austdac, Hipotronics and Raco.
The Company manufactures and sells lighting fixtures and controls for indoor and outdoor applications. The markets served include non-residential and residential. The Company has a range of light-emitting diode (LED) luminaire products within its portfolio. These lighting products or applications include canopy lights, parking lot/parking garage fixtures, decorative landscape fixtures, emergency lighting/exit signs, bollards, fluorescent fixtures, floodlights and poles, bath/vanity fixtures and fans, ceiling fans, LED components, chandeliers and sconces, site and area lighting, recessed, surface mounted and track fixtures, athletic and recreational field fixtures, and occupancy, dimming and daylight harvesting sensors. These lighting products are sold under various brands, including Kim Lighting, Security Lighting Systems, Spaulding Lighting, Kurt Versen, Sportsliter Solutions, Columbia Lighting, Alera Lighting, Prescolite, Beacon Products, Precision Paragon (P2), Progress Lighting, Dual-Lite, Architectural Area Lighting, Hubbell Building Automation, Hubbell Outdoor Lighting and Litecontrol.
The Power segment offers distribution, transmission, substation and telecommunications products for use in the civil construction and transportation industries. The Company offers these products to electric utilities, telecommunication companies, pipeline and mining operations, industrial firms, and construction and engineering firms. The Company manufactures and sells various electrical distribution, transmission, substation and telecommunication products. These products include items, such as arresters, high-voltage bushings, grounding equipment, cutouts and fuse links, insulators, programmable reclosers, pole line hardware, cable terminations and accessories, sectionalizers, helical anchors and foundations, formed wire products, lineman tools, hoses and gloves, overhead, pad-mounted and capacitor switches, splices, taps and connectors, and polymer concrete and fiberglass enclosures and equipment pads.
