InterDigital, Inc., incorporated on March 23, 2007, designs and develops technologies for wireless communications. Cellular Wireless Technologies

Its TDMA-based and CDMA-based inventions are being used in all 2G, 3G and 4G wireless networks, and mobile terminal devices. The Company is engaged in developing its technology portfolio in a range of areas, including the long term evolution (LTE), LTE Advanced projects and fifth generation (5G) technologies for 3G partnership project (3GPP). The Company's LTE inventions include MIMO technologies for reducing interference and increasing data rates; power control; hybrid- automatic repeat request (ARQ) for error correction; control channel structures for signaling; multi-carrier operation; low-complexity devices; vehicular-centric communications (V2X), and other areas.
