Janus Capital Group Inc. (JCG) provides investment management and administrative services to mutual funds, separate accounts and institutional clients in both domestic and international markets. JCG provides investment advisory services through its primary subsidiaries, Janus Capital Management LLC (Janus), INTECH Investment Management LLC (INTECH) and Perkins Investment Management LLC (Perkins). JCG's investment products are distributed through three channels: retail intermediary, institutional and international. Janus offers growth equity, core and international equity funds, as well as balanced, specialty fixed-income and money market funds. INTECH offers risk-managed investment products. Risk-managed products have primarily been sold through the institutional channel. In April 2008, Bowne & Co. Inc. acquired the digital print business of Rapid Solutions Group (RSG), a subsidiary of JCG.

The retail intermediary channel serves financial intermediaries and retirement plans for the advice-driven market, which includes asset managers, bank/trust officers, broker-dealers, independent planners, third-party administrators and insurance companies. In addition, this channel serves individual investors who access JCG's investment products directly. The institutional channel serves corporations, endowments, foundations, Taft-Hartley and public fund clients and focuses on distribution through consulting relationships and on a direct basis. The international channel serves professional investors outside of the United States, including central and local government pensions, corporate pensions, multi-managers, insurance companies and private banks. International products are offered through Janus Capital Funds Plc, separate accounts and subadvisory relationships.
