Korn/Ferry International, incorporated on September 13, 1999, offers leadership and talent consulting services. The Company provides executive recruitment, leadership development, enterprise learning, succession planning and recruitment process outsourcing, among others. Its clients include public and private companies, middle market and emerging growth companies, as well as government and nonprofit organizations. Its business segments include Executive Recruitment, Leadership & Talent Consulting (LTC), and Professional Search and Recruitment Process Outsourcing (Futurestep). The Company's talent data includes around 2.5 million assessments and profiles of 7.0 million candidates. The Company operates 78 offices in around 37 countries.

Executive Recruitment

The Company's executive recruitment services are used to fill executive-level positions, such as board directors, chief executive officers (CEOs), chief financial officers, chief operating officers, chief information officers and other senior executive officers. The Company assembles a team of search consultants who serve as management advisors working with the client in identifying, assessing and placing qualified candidates. Initially, the search team invites the client to an online portal where they complete a series of exercises designed to capture relevant, critical requirements for the role. Once the Unique Client Profile is finalized, a research team identifies, through the use of its databases and other information resources, companies in related industries facing similar issues and with operating characteristics similar to those of the client. In addition, the team consults with its network of resources, and searches its databases containing profiles of approximately five million executives to assist in identifying individuals with the appropriate background, cultural fit and abilities. The Company then screens the original list of candidates through phone interviews, video conferences and in-person meetings. Candidates also complete its Korn Ferry's Four Dimensional Executive Assessment.

The Korn Ferry's Fits Dimensions of Leadership & Talent tool gives clients insights about each candidate's competencies, personality traits, drivers, and past experiences that are aligned to the role. The Company conducts due diligence and background verification of the candidates throughout this process, at times with the assistance of an independent third-party. The finalist for the position meets with the client for a second and possibly a third round of discussions. At this point, the compensation package is discussed in detail. Its executive recruitment business is managed throughout its four regions: North America, Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia Pacific and South America. The Company has 20 offices throughout the United States and Canada. The Company has 19 offices in 17 countries throughout the EMEA region. The Company has 16 offices in 10 countries throughout the Asia Pacific region. The Company operates a network of seven offices in seven countries covering the entire South American region. The Company serves its clients' needs in two offices in Mexico through a subsidiary in which the Company holds a minority interest.

Leadership & Talent Consulting

The Company's strategic management assessment and executive coaching and development services are consolidated under the name Leadership & Talent Consulting. Its blend of talent management offerings assists clients with the ongoing assessment and development of their senior executives and management teams and addresses three fundamental needs, such as talent strategy; succession management, and leadership development. Each of Korn Ferry's solutions is delivered by leadership consultants, a global network of executive coaches and the intellectual property of research-based, time-tested leadership assessment and developmental tools. LTC is managed on a global basis with operations in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and South America. As of April 30, 2015, the Company had LTC operations in 16 cities in North America, 10 in Europe, 12 in Asia Pacific, and seven in Latin America.
