The Latin America segment includes primarily the sales of manufactured and sourced glass tableware having an end market destination in Latin America, including glass products for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) that have an end market destination outside of Latin America. The EMEA segment includes primarily the sales of manufactured and sourced glass tableware having an end market destination in EMEA. The Other segment includes primarily the sales of manufactured and sourced glass tableware having an end market destination in Asia Pacific.
The Company offers its products under various brand names, such as Libbey, Crisa, Royal Leerdam, World Tableware, Syracuse China and Crisal Glass. The Company offers a range of glass tableware, ceramic dinnerware, metal flatware, hollowware and serveware items for sale primarily in the foodservice, retail and business-to-business markets. The Company's tableware products consist of glass tableware, ceramic dinnerware, and metal flatware, hollowware and serveware. Its glass tableware includes tumblers, stemware, mugs, bowls, vases, salt and pepper shakers, shot glasses, canisters, candleholders and various other items. Its products include glass bakeware, handmade glass tableware and other glass products sold principally to OEMs, such as blender jars and washing machine windows. The Company also offers a range of ceramic dinnerware products, including plates, bowls, platters, cups, saucers and other tableware accessories. The Company also offers metal flatware, including knives, forks, spoons and serving utensils. It offers metal hollowware, including serving trays, pitchers and other metal tableware accessories. Through distribution and licensing arrangements, the Company offers a tabletop offering to service fine dining and event experiences.
The customers for the Company's tableware products include approximately 500 foodservice distributors in the United States, Canada and others across the world. In the retail channel, the Company sells to mass merchants, department stores, retail distributors, national retail chains and specialty housewares stores. The Company's business-to-business channel primarily includes customers that use glass containers for candle and floral applications, gourmet food packaging companies and various OEM applications. In Latin America, it sells to retail mass merchants and wholesale distributors, as well as candle and food packers, and various OEM users of custom-molded glass. In EMEA, the Company markets glassware to retailers, distributors and decorators. In Asia Pacific, it sells primarily to distributors and wholesalers.
