Linc Energy Ltd (Linc Energy) is an Australia-based company. The Company is engaged in the exploration for coal resources, and the development and commercialization of coal-to-liquids (CTL) processes through the combined utilization of underground coal gasification (UCG) and gas-to-liquid (GTL) technologies. The operations of the Company are located in two principal locations, Australia and Asia. In Asia, its the operations are based in Angren, Uzbekistan. In March 2009, the drilling of a preliminary four hole program was completed within exploration permit for coal (EPC) 908, near Biloela, central Queensland. Linc Energy’s Chinchilla project area consists of Mineral Development License (MDL) 309, EPC 635 and EPC 897. Drilling in Linc Energy’s Dalby tenements (MDL 371a) concluded in December 2008. On October 15, 2008, the Company completed its acquisition of 100% of SAPEX Limited (SAPEX). SAPEX holds vast petroleum tenements in South Australia.
