Logitech International S.A. (Logitech), incorporated on May 2, 1988, is a holding company. The Company develops and markets hardware and software products that enable digital navigation, music and video entertainment, gaming, social networking, audio and video communication over the Internet, video security and home-entertainment control. The Company operates through two business segments: peripherals, which is engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing of peripherals for personal computers (PCs), tablets and other digital platforms, and video conferencing, which offers high-definition (HD) video communication endpoints, HD video conferencing systems with monitors, video bridges, a cloud-based video conferencing solution and other infrastructure software and hardware to support video deployments. The Company conducts its business through its subsidiaries in Americas, including in North America and South America; Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and Asia Pacific, including among other countries, China, Taiwan, Japan and Australia.


The Company's peripherals segment includes retail and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) channels. The peripherals segment is engaged in the design, manufacturing and marketing of peripherals for PCs, tablets and other digital platforms. The Company sells its peripherals products to a network of distributors, retailers and OEMs. The retail peripherals product categories include mobile speakers, which consists of portable wireless Bluetooth speakers; gaming, which includes gaming mice, keyboards, headsets, gamepads and steering wheels; video collaboration, which includes video products and certain headset products that can connect small and medium sized user groups; tablet and other accessories, which includes keyboards and covers for tablets and smartphones, as well as other accessories for mobile devices; pointing devices, which include PC-related mice, touchpads and presenters; keyboards and combos, which includes keyboards, and keyboards and mice combos for a range of platforms; audio-PC and wearables, which includes PC speakers, PC headsets and in-ear headphones; PC Webcams, which includes retail Webcam products, and home control, which includes remote control and home automation products.

Video Conferencing

The Company's video conferencing segment is engaged in designing, manufacturing and marketing of Lifesize branded video conferencing products, infrastructure and services for small and medium size enterprises, public sector, and other business markets. The video conferencing products include Software as a Service (SaaS) video service, HD video communication endpoints, video conferencing infrastructure software and appliances to support video deployments, and services to support these products. The Company sells its video conferencing products and services to distributors, value-added resellers, OEMs, and direct enterprise customers.
