London Mining plc is a United Kingdom-based company. The Company is engaged in the development and operation of iron and coal mines worldwide to supply steel and energy industries. The Company has iron ore exploration and development projects located in Saudi Arabia, Greenland, China, Sierra Leone, Mexico, and coal projects in South Africa and Colombia. As of December 31, 2008, the Company had 100% interest in Marampa hematite iron ore mine in Sierra Leone and 100% interest in Isua magnetite iron ore project in Greenland. As of December 31, 2008, its subsidiaries included London Mining Company Limited, London Mining Logistics Company Ltd, Anglo Mexican Mining Ltd, MIL Participacoes Societarias Ltda and Rannerdale Limited.
