McCormick & Company, Incorporated, incorporated on November 30, 1915, manufactures, markets and distributes spices, seasoning mixes, condiments and other flavorful products to the food industry, including retailers, food manufacturers and foodservice businesses. The Company operates through two segments: consumer and industrial. The Company's products deliver flavor. The Company offers its customers and consumers a range of products to meet the demand for product attributes, such as organic, gluten-free and non-genetically modified organisms (GMO). The Company's sales, distribution and production facilities are located in North America, Europe and China. The additional facilities are based in Australia, Mexico, India, Singapore, Central America, Thailand and South Africa.

Consumer segment

The Company offers brands for consumers in approximately 140 countries and territories. The Company's brands in the Americas include McCormick, Lawry's, Stubb's and Club House. The Company also markets regional and ethnic brands, such as Zatarain's, Thai Kitchen and Simply Asia. In Europe and the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), the Company's brands include the Ducros, Schwartz, Kamis and Drogheria & Alimentari brands of spices, herbs and seasonings, and a line of Vahine brand dessert items. In the Asia/Pacific region, the Company markets products under the McCormick and DaQiao brands in China. In Australia, it markets its spices and seasonings under the McCormick brand and its dessert products under the Aeroplane brand. In India, its joint venture trades under the Kohinoor brand.

The Company's customers span a range of retailers that include grocery, mass merchandise, warehouse clubs, discount and drug stores, and e-commerce retailers served directly and indirectly through distributors or wholesalers. In addition to marketing its branded products to these customers, the Company is also a supplier of private label items, also known as store brands. Approximately half of its consumer segment is spices, herbs and seasonings. The Company sells approximately 250 other brands of spices, herbs and seasonings in the United States with additional brands in international markets.

Industrial segment

The Company provides a range of products to multinational food manufacturers and foodservice customers. The foodservice customers are supplied both directly and indirectly through distributors. The Company offers a range of products seasoning blends, spices and herbs, condiments, coating systems and compound flavors. The Company offers solutions in sensory testing, culinary research, food safety and flavor application.
