Its core businesses are reinsurance, primary insurance and asset management. The Company is structured into six divisions. The divisions Life and HealthCare underwrite its international life and health reinsurance business. Europe and Latin America Division is responsible for property-casualty business of clients from Europe, except Germany, and Latin America. The Germany, Asia Pacific and Africa Division includes property-casualty business with German clients and with cedents in Africa, Asia, Australia and the Pacific Islands. Special and Financial Risks (SFR) Division is responsible for credit, aviation and space, enterprise/contingency and political risks. Global Clients and North America Division handles international business and special classes. Company’s Corporate Underwriting Division is an independent entity without responsibility for operative business.
