NetSuite Inc. (NetSuite), incorporated on April 11, 2007, is a provider of cloud-based financials, enterprise resource planning (ERP) and omnichannel commerce software suites. The Company also provides applications, including financial management, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Ecommerce and retail management, Professional Services Automation (PSA) and Human Capital Management (HCM) that enable companies to manage core business operations. The Company delivers its applications over the Internet as a subscription service using the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model. The Company’s offerings include NetSuite, NetSuite OneWorld, NetSuite CRM+, NetSuite OpenAir PSA, SuiteCommerce, NetSuite POS, TribeHR, LightCMS, Add-On Modules, NetSuite Industry Editions and SuiteCloud Platform. The Company’s main offering is NetSuite, which is designed to provide the core business management capabilities. NetSuite, OneWorld and NetSuite CRM+ are designed for use by most types of businesses. NetSuite OpenAir (OpenAir) PSA is designed for use specifically by professional services businesses. SuiteCommerce enables businesses to move from standalone transactional channels to an integrated commerce solution. NetSuite POS is a point-of-sale solution that is used by retail businesses. TribeHR is a human capital management (HCM) solution. LightCMS is a Web-based software platform. SuiteCloud is the Company’s technology platform. The Company delivers its applications over the Internet as a subscription service using the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model.
In addition, the Company offers industry-specific configurations for use by wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, retail, nonprofit, services and software companies. The Company also sells additional cloud-based application modules that customers can purchase to obtain additional functionality required for their specific business needs.
NetSuite is the Company’s main offering. It is targeted at medium-sized businesses and divisions of large companies, provides a single platform for financials/ERP, CRM, PSA and e-commerce capabilities.
NetSuite OneWorld provides global businesses and divisions of large companies operating in multinational and multi-subsidiary environments. NetSuite OneWorld delivers product capabilities, including global financial consolidation, subsidiary management and transactions in around 190 currencies, support for 19 languages and tax compliance across 50 countries. NetSuite OneWorld allows users to utilize the Company’s single platform for financials/ERP, CRM, PSA and e-commerce capabilities in multi-currency and multi-language environments across multiple subsidiaries and legal entities. NetSuite OneWorld allows managing multiple companies or legal entities, with different currencies, taxation rules and reporting requirements, within a single NetSuite account. NetSuite OneWorld's tax and compliance management provides a foundation for transparency, automation and controls in the management of tax and compliance responsibilities. NetSuite OneWorld has CRM capabilities that allow for management of multi-currency quotas, forecasts, commission payments, sales tax calculations and real-time reporting.
NetSuite CRM+ is targeted at companies, including larger than traditional medium-sized business customers. This application provides traditional sales force automation, marketing automation, customer support and service management functionality.
NetSuite OpenAir PSA
NetSuite OpenAir is a PSA solution that is used by professional services organizations and is targeted at companies with thousands of employees. NetSuite OpenAir provides a clear view into the services organization’s performance and profitability with dashboards and reports. NetSuite OpenAir provides online and mobile time and expense management. NetSuite OpenAir can be deployed either as a stand-alone PSA software solution, integrated with NetSuite, or integrated with an existing enterprise CRM or financials/ERP system.
The SuiteCommerce solution enables businesses to move from standalone transactional channels, such as online, in-store or telephone to an integrated commerce. The SuiteCommerce captures preferences and transactions into customer profiles to support personalized marketing, merchandising and promotions across all channels.
NetSuite POS is a point-of-sale solution that is used by retail businesses. NetSuite POS includes item search capabilities and real-time access to inventory information throughout the retail chain. The CRM functionality in the Company’s retail point-of-sale (POS) systems captures important customer information, such as buying preference and purchase history.
TribeHR is HCM functionality necessary to recruit, manage and reward employees. The functionality includes core Human Resource Information System (HRIS) recruiting capabilities and an applicant tracking system, talent management, social human resource tools and mobile support.
LightCMS is a Web-based software platform. LightCMS functionality simplifies the process of building a Website and an online store.
The Company also offers advanced capabilities. The Company offers add-on modules, which are part of its integrated suite, but are sold separately.
NetSuite Industry Editions
The Company has configured NetSuite to meet the requirements of selected industries. The Company’s editions serve companies in the wholesale/distribution, manufacturing, services, retail and software industries. Within each edition, the Company offers industry specific functionality.
The SuiteCloud is the Company’s technology platform that allows customers, partners and developers to tailor and extend the Company’s suite to meet specific company, vertical and industry requirements for personalization and business processes. It allows partners to develop and distribute cloud-based products, including industry-specific versions of the Company’s applications. NetSuite provides partners building on SuiteCloud with a Website, SuiteApp.com, which enables them to market and distribute solutions to NetSuite.
