OZ Minerals Limited, formerly Oxiana Limited, is an Australia-based mining company and was formed on July 1, 2008, through a merger of two Australia-based international mining companies Oxiana Limited and Zinifex Limited. After a sale of a number of assets to China Minmetals Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd in June 2009, OZ Minerals remained with the South Australian copper-gold mine Prominent Hill and exploration licenses in Cambodia. Prominent Hill is a producer of copper and gold exporting its concentrates to smelters in China, India and Europe. The Company has a 49.9% holding in Toro Energy Limited.
