Premier Oil PLC (Premier) is engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production. The Company’s operations are located in the North Sea, Asia, Middle East-Pakistan and West Africa. During the year ended December 31, 2008, oil and gas proven and probable booked reserves amount to 228 million barrels of oil equivalent (mmboe). Average production for 2008, averaged 36,500 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd). In May 2009, the Company announced that it has completed the acquisition of Oilexco North Sea Limited (ONSL). In July 2009, the Company completed the acquisition from Delek Energy Systems Ltd. of Delek Energy (Vietnam) LLC, the holding company for its 25% interest in Block 12W in the Nam Con Son Basin, offshore Vietnam. The block also contains the Dua oil and gas discovery.
