(Pentair) completed its merger (the Merger) with Panthro Merger Sub, Inc. (Merger Sub), a wholly owned, indirect subsidiary of Pentair Ltd. On September 28, 2012, the Company merged with Tyco's Flow Control business.
The Company’s Aquatic Systems business provides equipment, accessories and water technology solutions to two markets: swimming pools and aquaculture. The Company’s Equipment Protection business is a provider of product and service solutions for enclosing, protecting, and cooling electrical and electronic systems to support automation, control and communication needs across a range of industries and verticals. The brand names for the Equipment Protection business include Hoffman, Schroff, and McLean.
The Company’s Flow Technologies business is focused on global residential, municipal, commercial and industrial water and fluid handling markets. The brand names for the Flow Technologies business include Aurora, Fairbanks, Nijhuis, Sta-Rite, Myers, Hypro, Berkeley, Jung Pumpen. Its Process Technologies business provides solutions for the toughest filtration, separation and fluid process management challenges. The brand names for the Process Technologies business include Everpure, X-Flow, Haffmans, Sudmo, Porous Media and CodeLine. The Company’s Thermal Management business is a provider of heat management systems for industrial and commercial facilities, with operations in more than 50 countries. The brand names include, DigiTrace, HEW-THERM, Pyrotenax, Raychem, T2, Tracer, and TraceTek. Its Valves & Controls business is a manufacturer and marketer of valves, actuators, and controls solutions. The brand names include Vanessa, Anderson Greenwood, Clarkson, Keystone, Sempell, Crosby, Biffi and Westlock.
The Company is engaged in the water and wastewater system from water transmission and distribution, process and control, to valves, fittings, and couplings. It is also engaged in the design and manufacture of environmental instrumentation for both water and air applications. Its Water Purification business focuses on residential, commercial and industrial water treatment, softening, filtration and specialty pumps markets globally.
