PT Tambang Batubara Bukit Asam Tbk is an Indonesia-based coal mining company. It is engaged in coal mining activities, including general survey, exploration, exploitation, processing, refining, transportation and trading, maintenance of special coal port facilities for internal and external needs, operation of steam power plants and providing consulting services related to the coal mining industry. The Company has developed coal briquette production as an alternative fuel for home and small industries. The briquette production facilities are producing a total of 115,000 tons per year and located in Gresik, Tanjung Enim and Lampung, Indonesia. The two mining units are located at Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra and Ombilin, West Sumatra.
