In the United States, RBS’ subsidiary, Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (Citizens), operates as a commercial banking company. The Company’s activities are organized into four business divisions: Global Markets (comprising Global Banking & Markets and Global Transaction Services), Regional Markets (comprising UK Retail & Commercial Banking, US Retail & Commercial Banking, Europe & Middle East Retail & Commercial Banking, and Asia Retail & Commercial Banking), RBS Insurance and Group Manufacturing. In November 2009, Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited announced the acquisition of the Company's business in the Philippines.
