The Company provides services to customers from various industries, including insurance, banking and financial services, manufacturing, telecommunications, transportation and engineering services. Satyam BPO Limited (Satyam BPO), a majority-owned subsidiary of the Company is engaged in providing business process outsourcing (BPO) services. Satyam operates in two segments: IT services and BPO services. As of July 6, 2009, Tech Mahindra Limited had acquired approximately 31.04% of the Company’s outstanding shares of common stock.
