Stockland Corporation Limited (Stockland) is an Australia-based company. During the fiscal year ended June 30, 2009 (fiscal 2009), the principal activities of the Company was investment in income producing retail, office, industrial and office park properties. The Company operates in four business segments: residential (including retirement living); commercial property (including Stockland Capital Partners division); UK and other (including the responsible entity fees relating to the trust management). The Company operates primarily in mainland Australia. On July 17, 2008, Stockland completed the acquisition of Rylands retirement living business (Rylands). The Rylands business includes two apartment-style retirement villages comprising 153 independent living units. In May 2008, the Company disposed of its business assets in New Zealand.
