Profile: Sunrise Telecom Inc (SRTI.PK)
Sunrise Telecom Incorporated, incorporated in October 1991, develops communications test and measurement solutions for telecom, cable and wireless service providers. The Company produces a range of products for installing, maintaining and troubleshooting core networks, triple play residential services, cable broadband networks, carrier Ethernet, wireless backhaul and fiber optics. It design and manufacture service verification equipment, physical layer diagnostic equipment and monitoring systems that enable service providers to pre-qualify facilities for services, verify newly installed services, monitor the performance of video networks, and diagnose problems relating to copper twisted pair, coaxial cable and optical fibers.
Ethernet Products include RxT 10GE Module, IntelliSAM Comprehensive Carrier Ethernet Service Activation Test Suite, The Modular Test Toolkit, SunLite GigE, GigE Responder and STT. The RxT 10GE delivers the 10 Gigabit Ethernet multifunction test set for the installation and maintenance of carrier-grade Ethernet and Internet Protocol (IP) services. ITU-T Y.1564, (Y.156SAM), is the Ethernet Service Activation Test Methodology, created to ensure that service providers can do a proper job of verifying the correct configuration and performance of Ethernet services at the time of service activation.
The Modular Test Toolkit is a full-featured handheld test set for access network service installation and maintenance. It features a variety of handheld chassis configurations with support for about 20 different test modules to fit applications ranging from Universal DSL, IP-TV, VoIP, Ethernet, copper diagnostics, T1 (1.544 mbps) and E1 (2 mbps) transmission, analog Voice Frequency circuits, and SONET/SDH. The SunLite GigE is a rugged, compact and lightweight palm size test solution with long battery operation hours for the installation and maintenance of Carrier Ethernet, wireless backhaul and IP services.
The GigE Responder provides loopback functionality in a low cost, handheld platform that is the perfect companion to the SunLite GigE, as well as MTT-50 GigE module, RxT GigE and 10GE modules. STT is a portable, modular unit designed to test the core and metro optical networks. The STT supports SONET/SDH up to 40G, OTN up to 43G, VCAT/GFP/LCAS up to 10G, Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet and Fibre Channel testing through a family of stackable test modules.
Cable Broadband Products
Cable Broadband Products include AT2500R Series, AT2500H Series, CM3800, CM2800, CM750, 3010H, 3010R and realWORX. AT2500R Series is a lightweight, full-featured, portable Spectrum Analyzer designed for Cable TV (CATV) head-end and field portable applications. AT2500H Series is a Rack-mounted Spectrum Analyzer providing remote visibility into headend and plant performance. It performs remote head-end testing of both analog and digital downstream and upstream signals from 1 MHz to 1.5 GHz. The Company’s new Spectrum Analyzer and CaLan compatible CM3800 Sweep System and DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem Network Analyzer is the latest addition to its service and plant verification testing and troubleshooting solutions.
The CM2800 is a modern tester that sets a new standard for CATV plant maintenance. CM750 is used for cable modem installation and field testing for cable television and telephone companies. 3010H is a rack-mounted head-end analyzer and sweep generator provides the capabilities required to keep cable networks operating reliably and delivering quality, distortion-free signals. 3010R is a rugged field unit that includes both forward and return sweep in addition to Signal Level Meter (SLM) capabilities for maintaining the entire cable network. realWORX is a fully automated 24/7 broadband performance monitoring system that monitors upstream and downstream signal quality on a continuous basis from a head-end or hub site.
Transport Product include the RxT Fiber Optics Toolkit (FOT) module, RxT
SDH/SONET Module, RxT Dual T1 Module, RxT Dual E1 Module, STT, STT 40G, SunSet 10G+, SunSet SDH, Modular Test Toolkit, SunLite E1 and SunSet E20. The RxT Fiber Optics Toolkit (FOT) module is an integral solution for the construction, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Mobile Backhaul Networks with SDH/SONET and Gigabit Ethernet optical interfaces. When paired with the rugged, battery operated RxT productivity test platform the RxT SDH/SONET Module tests SDH, SONET, PDH and Tcarrier, circuits from 2.5 Gbps to 1.544/2.048 Mbps and 155M/622M ATM Networks. When paired with the rugged, battery operated RxT productivity test platform, the Dual T1 Module is designed to assist field technicians with new link installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting problems in the T1 network.
The RxT E1 Module, part of the forward compatibility solution for the MTT family of products, is a rugged, battery-operated handheld productivity test solution designed to assist field technicians with new link installation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting problems in the E1 network. STT 40G is a portable, modular unit designed to verify the performance of new, highbandwidth 40G SDH/SONET and 43G OTN Networks. SunSet 10G+ SunSet 10G+ supports transmission testing for metropolitan and core optical networks. The Sunset SDH is a handheld unit that supports international SDH and digital transmission types found throughout metropolitan and access networks worldwide. The Modular Test Toolkit (MTT) offers physical layer fiber optic testing modules. SunLite E1 is a pocket-sized unit supports transmission testing for E1. SunSet E20 supports transmission testing for E1 and service verification for data, voice, mobile, and other signaling protocols.
