Santos Limited is an Australia-based oil and gas exploration and production company. During the year ended December 31, 2008, the Company supplied 20% of the eastern Australia’s domestic gas requirements and produced 54.4 million barrels of oil equivalent. During 2008, the principal activities of the Company are petroleum exploration, the production, treatment and marketing of natural gas, crude oil, condensate, naphtha, liquid petroleum gas, and the transportation by pipeline of crude oil. In July 2009, Hillgrove Resources Limited completed the sale of its investment in Eastern Star Gas Limited to Santos Limited.
