TravelCenters of America LLC (TravelCenters), incorporated on October 10, 2006, operates and franchises approximately 460 travel centers and convenience store locations. The Company's segments include travel centers and convenience stores. The Company offers a range of products and services, including diesel fuel and gasoline, as well as nonfuel products and services, such as truck repair and maintenance services, full service restaurants, over 40 different brands of quick service restaurants (QSRs), travel/convenience stores and various driver amenities. Its customers include trucking fleets and their drivers, independent truck drivers and highway and local motorists.

The Company's business includes over 250 travel centers in approximately 40 states in the United States, primarily along the United States interstate highway system, and the province of Ontario, Canada. Its travel centers include approximately 175 operated under the TravelCenters of America and TA brand names, or the TA brand, including over 160 that the Company operates and approximately 15 that franchisees operates, including over five it leases to franchisees, and approximately 75 operated under the Petro Stopping Centers and Petro brand names, or the Petro brand, including over 60 that it operates and approximately 15 that franchisees operates. Of its approximately 250 travel centers, the Company owns over 30, leases approximately 190, including over 190 that it leased from Hospitality Properties Trust, or HPT, it operates over two for a joint venture and its franchisees owned or leased from others over 25.

The Company's travel centers include over 25 acres of land with parking for approximately 185 tractor trailers and over 100 cars; a full service restaurant and QSRs that the Company operate as a franchisee under various brands; a truck repair facility and parts store; multiple diesel and gasoline fueling points, including diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) at the diesel lanes, and a travel/convenience store, game room, lounge and other amenities for professional truck drivers and motorists. Its convenience store includes approximately 10 fueling positions; over 3,100 square feet of interior space on an acre of land, and multiple merchandise and QSR offerings.

The Company's business also includes over 200 convenience stores not located on a travel center property in 11, primarily Midwestern, states of the United States. It operates convenience stores primarily under the Minit Mart brand name, or the Minit Mart brand. Its locations offer a range of products and services, including Fuel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid, Full Service Restaurants and QSRs, Truck Service, Travel Stores, Convenience Stores and Additional Driver Services.

The Company sells diesel fuel at separate truck fueling lanes at its travel centers. It sells branded and unbranded gasoline and diesel fuel at motorist fuel islands at travel centers and convenience store locations. The Company offers DEF from dispensers on the diesel fueling island at all of its travel centers. Its full service restaurants are operated under Iron Skillet and Country Pride brands, and offers menu table service and buffets. It also operates over 40 different brands of QSRs, including Arby's, Burger King, Dunkin' Donuts, Pizza Hut, Popeye's Chicken & Biscuits, Starbuck's Coffee, Subway and Taco Bell. Its travel stores located at a travel center have a selection of over 4,700 items, including packaged food and snack items, beverages, non-prescription drug and beauty supplies, batteries, automobile accessories, and music and video products. Its standalone convenience stores have a selection of over 3,600 items, including packaged food and snack items, beverages, tobacco products, non-prescription drug and beauty supplies, batteries and automobile accessories. The Company offers commercial truck and other customer loyalty programs, the principal program being the UltraOne Club. In addition, it publishes a magazine called RoadKing, which includes articles and advertising of interest to professional truck drivers. Some of its travel centers offer casino gaming. Its travel centers provide truck drivers with a range of amenities. Its trucking customers transact business by use of fuel cards, most of which are issued by third-party fuel card companies.

The Company competes with TA, Pilot Travel Centers LLC, and Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, Inc.
