Theolia SA is a France-based energy company that develops and manages renewable energy sources. It specializes in the production of electricity using wind power, as well as in the construction of wind power plants and turbines for its own account and third parties, based notably in France, Germany and Italy. Theolia SA is also involved in a range of activities in the wind energy electricity production from identifying the site to the operational management of the wind farms, including obtaining building permits, selecting turbines for site and arranging financing. As of December 31, 2008, the Company managed a total installed capacity of 671 megawatts (MW), with a portfolio of wind projects under development for 2,580 MW. It operates several subsidiaries, including Ventura, Natenco GmbH, Meastrale Energy Srl and Theolia Iberica. The Company is operational in such countries as Germany, Spain, Brazil, India and Morocco.
