Tata Steel Limited is a diversified steel producer with major operations in India, Europe and South East Asia. It has manufacturing units in 26 countries, and a presence in 50 European and Asian markets. Its operations predominantly relate to manufacture of Steel, and Ferro Alloys and Minerals business. Other business segments comprise Tubes and Bearings. Apart from the main Steel Division, its operations are grouped under business units. Bearings Division manufactures ball bearings, double-row, self-aligning bearings and clutch release bearings. Ferro Alloys and Minerals Division operates chrome mines, and has units for making ferro chrome and ferro manganese. Tata Agrico is a manufacturer of hand tools and implements for application in agriculture. Tata Growth Shop has designed, developed, manufactured, erected and commissioned equipments ranging from overhead cranes to high-precision components. Tubes Division is a steel tube manufacturer. Wire Division manufactures steel wires.
