ThyssenKrupp AG is a Germany-based technology holding company that operates through five business segments in over 80 countries. Its Steel business segment concentrates on the manufacturing of carbon flat steel products. The Stainless segment, run by ThyssenKrupp Stainless AG, focuses on the production of stainless steel flat-rolled products, and high performance materials, such as nickel alloys and titanium. The Elevator business unit manufactures elevators, escalators, moving walks, stair and platform lifts, as well as passenger boarding bridges. The Technologies division supplies systems, modules, specialized machinery and components, and the Services business segment is engaged in the distribution and sale of metal products, as well as in the provision of industrial services, including warehousing and inventory management, primarily to the manufacturing industry.
