Perusahaan Perseroan (Persero) PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk, incorporated on November 19, 1991, offers telecommunications and network services. The Company's segments include Corporate, Home, Personal and Others. The Corporate segment provides telecommunications services, including interconnection, leased lines, satellite, contact center, broadband access, information technology services, and data and Internet services to companies and institutions. The Home segment provides fixed wireline telecommunications services, pay television, and data and Internet services to home customers. The Personal segment provides mobile cellular and fixed wireless telecommunications services to individual customers. The Others segment provides building management services.
The Company's mobile products portfolio comprises mobile voice, short message service (SMS) and value-added services, as well as mobile broadband. The Company's postpaid mobile services are marketed under the kartuHalo brand, and its prepaid services are marketed under the simPATI, Kartu As and Loop brands. The Company's mobile broadband services are marketed under the Telkomsel Flash name. The Company's fixed product portfolio comprises fixed voice and fixed broadband services. Its bundling program is marketed under the commercial name, IndiHome, which bundles in all in one packages consisting primarily of broadband Internet, fixed wireline residential phone and interactive television services. The Company's interconnection and international traffic product portfolio includes wholesale telecommunications services and its international business, which is conducted through its subsidiary, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia International (Telin). The Company's wholesale telecommunications services include primarily interconnection services, as well as network services, wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi), hubbing, data center and content platform, data and Internet, and solutions.
The Company's network infrastructure product portfolio includes satellite operations and tower operations. The Company's satellite operations consist primarily of leasing satellite transponders capacity to broadcasters and operators of very small aperture terminal (VSAT), cellular and international direct dialing (IDD) services and Internet service providers (ISPs), as well as providing earth station satellite up linking and down linking services for domestic and international users. Through its subsidiary, PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi (Mitratel), the Company leases out space to other operators to place their telecommunications equipment on these towers. The Company's digital enterprise product portfolio, which focuses on the information business, includes the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Platform and the Smart Enabler Platform. The ICT Platform includes Enterprise connectivity, including fixed voice, fixed broadband, Internet protocol (IP)-virtual private network (VPN), lease channel (LC), Ethernet and managed network services; information technology (IT) services, including system integration, IT outsourcing, premises integration and professional services; Data center and cloud, including data center (including colocation, hosting and content delivery network (CDN)) and cloud Infrastructures as a Service (laaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Unified Communications as a Service (UcaaS); Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) services, and Devices/hardware, including hardware sales/support (common platform enumeration (CPE) trading, CPE services and IT security).
The Smart Enabler Platform includes Payment, which offers bill payment, online payment gateway, e-money and direct carrier billing; Digital advertising, including digital out-of-home, mobile advertising, digital agency and analytics solutions, and Big data and other smart enablers, including platform services. The Company's digital consumer business portfolio comprises primarily media and edutainment services, such as e-commerce services, video/television services (pay television, Internet protocol television (IPTV) and Over The Top (OTT) television), and digital mobile services (game, music and mobile digital life services). The Company operates international gateways in Batam, Jakarta and Surabaya to route outgoing and incoming calls on its IDD service (007). The Company operates its e-money business under the T-cash brand name.
