Tutor Perini Corporation (Tutor Perini), incorporated on January 05, 1918, is a construction company offering general contracting, construction management and design-build services to private clients and public agencies worldwide. The Company operates in four segments: Civil, Building, Specialty Contractors and Management Services. The Company offers general contracting, pre-construction planning and project management services, including the planning and scheduling of the manpower, equipment, materials and subcontractors required for a project. It also offers self-performed construction services, including site work, concrete forming and placement, steel erection, electrical and mechanical, plumbing, and heating, ventilation, & air conditioning (HVAC). During the year ended December 31, 2012, the Company performed work on over 1,200 construction projects for over 500 federal, state and local government agencies or authorities and private customers.

Civil Segment

The Company’s Civil segment specializes in public works construction and the repair, replacement and reconstruction of infrastructure across most of the geographic regions of the United States. Its civil contracting services include construction and rehabilitation of highways, bridges, mass transit systems, and wastewater treatment facilities. As of December 31, 2012, the Company was working on the SR99 bored tunnel project in Seattle, Washington; the Queens Plaza substation project in Queens, New York; the reconstruction of the I-95 MD43 interchange in Baltimore, Maryland; the rehabilitation of the Tappan Zee Bridge in Westchester County, New York; the I-5 Bridge replacement in Shasta County, California; the Caldecott Tunnel Project near Oakland, California; the New Irvington tunnel in Fremont, California; the Harold Structures mass transit project in Queens, New York; runway paving at Andrews AFB in Maryland, and the construction of express toll lanes along I-95 in Maryland. As of December 31, 2012, it had completed work on the John F. Kennedy International Airport runway widening in Queens, New York, and various segments of the Greenwich Street corridor project in New York, New York.

Building Segment

The Company’s Building segment provides services to a range of specialized building markets for private and public works customers, including the hospitality and gaming, transportation, healthcare, municipal offices, sports and entertainment, education, correctional facilities, biotech, pharmaceutical, industrial and high-tech markets. It works with hotel operators, Native American tribal councils, developers and architectural firms to provide construction services.

Specialty Contractors Segment

The Company’s Specialty Contractors segment specializes in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and pneumatically placed concrete for a range of civil, building and management services construction projects in the industrial, commercial, hospitality and gaming, and transportation end markets, among others. Superior Gunite (Superior) specializes in pneumatically placed structural concrete utilized in infrastructure projects, such as bridges, dams, tunnels and retaining walls. Fisk covers a range of commercial, transportation and industrial electrical construction markets in southwestern and southeastern United States locations. FSE, WDF and Nagelbush serve a range of clients in a variety of markets, including transportation, infrastructure, commercial, school and university, residential, and specialty construction, with a presence in the northeastern markets.

Management Services Segment

The Company’s Management Services segment provides construction and design-build services to the United States military and government agencies, as well as surety companies and multi-national corporations in the United States and overseas. As of December 31, 2012, the Company had completed work on the design and construction of four military bases in Afghanistan for the Afghan National Army. It also provides management services to surety companies and multi-national corporations.
