Profile: T-3 Energy Services, Inc. (TTES.O)

T-3 Energy Services, Inc., incorporated in October 1999, designs, manufactures, repairs and services products used in the drilling and completion of new oil and gas wells, the workover of existing wells, and the production and transportation of oil and gas. The Company’s products are used in both onshore and offshore applications throughout the world. The Company’s customer base consists of other oilfield service companies, independent oil and gas companies, national energy companies and pipeline companies. On January 24, 2008, the Company acquired Pinnacle, located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, which assembles tests, installs and performs repairs on wellhead production products primarily in Oklahoma.

As of March 2, 2009, the Company had 22 manufacturing facilities, 21 of which were located throughout North America and one of which was located in India. The Company has three product lines: pressure and flow control, wellhead and pipeline, which generated 73%, 15% and 12% of its total revenue, respectively, for the year ended December 31, 2008. Within each of these product lines, the Company sells original equipment products and also provides aftermarket parts and services. Original equipment products generated 80% and aftermarket parts and services generated 20% of its total revenues, respectively, for the year ended December 31, 2008.

Pressure and Flow Control

The Company designs, manufactures and provides aftermarket parts and services for pressure and flow control products used in the drilling, completion, production and workover of onshore, offshore and subsea applications. Its pressure and flow control products include: blow-out preventers (BOPs); BOP control systems; elastomer products; production, drilling and well service chokes; manifolds, and high pressure gate valves.

Wellhead

The Company designs, manufactures and provides aftermarket parts and services for wellhead equipment used for onshore oil and gas production. Its wellhead products include wellheads, production chokes and production valves. Wellhead products are sold to oil and gas producers and are used during both the drilling and completion phases of an oil or gas well, as well as during the productive life of a well.

Pipeline

The Company designs, manufactures and provides aftermarket parts and services for a variety of valves primarily for onshore pipeline applications. Its pipeline products include a variety of valves for pipeline applications, including low pressure gate, ball, control and check valves. Its pipeline valves and related products are used in field or gathering systems and in interstate pipeline transmission systems.

The Company competes with Cameron International Corporation, National Oilwell Varco, Inc., GE Oil & Gas Group (including Vetco Gray and Hydril) and FMC Technologies.
