TV Azteca SA de CV (TV Azteca) is a Mexican company principally engaged in the television broadcasting. The Company operates three television networks: Azteca 7 and Azteca 13, which are broadcasted through more than 300 transmission sites nationwide, and Proyecto 40, an ultra high frequency (UHF) channel broadcasted in Mexico City. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Television Azteca SA de CV, Grupo TV Azteca SA de CV, Azteca Records SA de CV, Producciones Azteca Digital SA de CV, Azteca Novelas SA de CV, Azteca International Corporation, Proyectos Televisivos SA de CV, TV Azteca Comercializadora SA de CV, Estudios Azteca SA de CV, Azteca Web SA de CV and Azteca America Network, among others. Through its subsidiaries, the Company has operations established in the United States, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Venezuela, Argentina, Paraguay, Spain, Bulgaria, Malaysia and Thailand. Its majority shareholder is Azteca Holdings SA de CV, with 58% of its interests.
