The Company operates in four segments: Electricity, which is engaged in ownership and management of electricity distribution networks; Gas Transportation, which is engaged ownership and management of gas transmission and distribution networks; Gas Wholesale, which is engaged in natural gas acquisition, processing and retailing, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) distribution, storage and retailing and cogeneration, and Technology , which is engaged in telecommunications networks, electricity and gas metering. On July 24, 2008, Vector disposed of 100% of interest in its subsidiaries Vector Wellington Electricity Networks Limited and Vector Wellington Electricity Management Limited to Cheung Kong Infrastructure holdings Limited.
