WESCO International, Inc., incorporated on September 17, 1993, is a distributor of products and provider of supply chain management and logistics services used in industrial, construction, utility and commercial, institutional and government (CIG) markets. The Company is a provider of electrical, industrial and communications maintenance, repair and operating (MRO) and original equipment manufacturers (OEM) products, construction materials, and supply chain management and logistics services. The Company's primary product categories include general electrical and industrial supplies, wire, cable and conduit, data and broadband communications, power distribution equipment, lighting and lighting control systems, control and automation, motors, and safety. The Company serves over 80,000 customers across the globe through approximately 500 service branches located in North America, with operations in over 10 additional countries and approximately nine distribution centers located in the United States and Canada. It distributes over 1,000,000 products, grouped into six categories, from approximately 25,000 suppliers utilizing an automated, electronic procurement and inventory replenishment system. In addition, it offers a portfolio of capabilities, which includes supply chain management, logistics and transportation, procurement, warehousing and inventory management, as well as kitting, limited assembly of products and system installation.

The Company's industrial sales product categories include a range of electrical equipment and supplies, as well as lubricants, pipe, valves, fittings, fasteners, cutting tools, power transmission, and safety products. In addition, OEM customers require a supply of assemblies and components to incorporate into their own products, as well as services, such as supplier consolidation, design and technical support, just-in-time supply and electronic commerce, and supply chain management. Its construction customers include an array of contractors and engineering, procurement and construction firms for industrial, infrastructure, commercial and data and broadband communications projects. Its utility customers include investor-owned utilities, rural electric cooperatives, municipal power authorities and contractors that serve these customers. The Company provides its utility customers with products and services to support the construction and maintenance of their generation, transmission and distribution systems along with a range of products. Its commercial, institutional and governmental customers include schools, hospitals, property management firms, retailers and federal, state and local government agencies of all types, including federal contractors.

The Company's network of branches and distribution centers stock more than 250,000 product stock keeping units. The Company provides customers with access to more than 1,000,000 different products. The Company offers product categories and associated product lines that include General and Industrial Supplies, such as wiring devices, fuses, terminals, connectors, boxes, enclosures, fittings, lugs, terminations, tape, splicing and marking equipment, tools and testers, safety and security, personal protection, abrasives, cutting tools, tapes, consumables, fasteners, janitorial and other MRO supplies; Wire, Cable and Conduit, such as wire, cable, raceway, metallic and non-metallic conduit, and Data and Broadband Communications, such as structured cabling systems, broadband products, low voltage specialty systems, specialty wire and cable products, equipment racks and cabinets, access control, alarms, cameras, paging and voice solutions. The Company also offers Power Distribution Equipment, which include circuit breakers, transformers, switchboards, panel boards, metering products and busway products; Lighting and Controls, which include Lamps, fixtures, ballasts and lighting control products, and Control, Automation and Motors, which include motor control devices, drives, surge and power protection, relays, timers, pushbuttons, operator interfaces, switches, sensors and interconnects.

The Company provides customers a portfolio of services, which includes approximately 50 solutions in over 10 categories, including construction, e-commerce, energy and sustainability, engineering services, production support, safety and security, supply chain optimization, training and working capital. The Company provides these solutions to address its customers business need through technical support for operational and transactional process improvements; inventory optimization programs, including just-in-time delivery and vendor managed inventory; dedicated onsite support personnel, and safety and product training for customer employees.
