Warimpex Finanz- und Beteiligungs AG is a real estate development and investment group with special focus on hotel properties in Central and Eastern Europe (CEE). The Company develops and invests in projects mainly in the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, Hungary and Romania. In addition to hotel properties, the Company also develops real estate projects such as office buildings or shopping centers. The range of services and activities offered includes project planning and preliminary marketing, authorization procedures, advice on financing, general enterprise, pre-opening management, project realization, asset and operating management, and company law. As of December 31, 2008, the Company’s portfolio comprised a total of 24 properties, 18 of which were hotels with a total of 3,800 rooms, as well as six office properties, with an aggregate space of approximately 32,000 square metres. It also owned several land properties and development projects in eight countries in CEE.
