ACI Worldwide Inc To Acquire Euronet Worldwide, Inc.'s Euronet Essentis Limited

ACI Worldwide Inc announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Euronet Essentis Limited (Essentis), a division of Euronet Worldwide, Inc. Essentis, based in Watford, UK, is a provider of payment solutions for card issuing and merchant acquiring around the world. ACI will market the Essentis solutions globally to financial service providers under the ACI brand. 

 
ACI Worldwide Inc Sees FY 2009 Sales At Lower End Of Prior Guidance; Reaffirms FY 2009 EBIT Guidance

ACI Worldwide Inc announced that it does not anticipate any significant changes to its fiscal 2009 guidance reaffirmed in October based upon what the Company is seeing in its business markets to date. However, the Company currently anticipate that it will achieve the low end of sales guidance. Guidance, incorporating previously disclosed risks and opportunities, remains as indicated on October 6, 2009. Fiscal 2009 guidance is for sales of $414-428 million, GAAP revenue of approximately $406 million and GAAP operating income of $36.7-38.5 million. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report EBIT of $37.9 million for fiscal 2009. 

 
ACI Worldwide Inc Announces Alliance With Bell ID To Provide Smart Card Solutions

ACI Worldwide Inc announced that it has entered into an agreement with Bell ID for ACI to license Bell ID's solutions for smart card management to financial markets and retailers around the world. As part of this agreement, ACI will market and license the ANDiS suite of products, which will continue to be developed by Bell ID from its Dutch headquarters. The Bell ID products include the ANDiS Card and Application Management System (CAMS) which supports all of the lifecycle phases of smart card management, including embossing file import, data preparation, personalization, EMV script management, and central or in-branch issuance. The ANDiS Key Management System (or KMS) allows users to define, maintain, and store cryptographic keys. 

 
ACI Worldwide Inc Raises FY 2009 EBIT Outlook; Lowers FY 2009 Revenue Outlook

ACI Worldwide Inc updated its fiscal 2009 outlook and expects GAAP operating income (EBIT) improvement of approximately 5%-10% above the previously disclosed $35 million, a potential decrease of up to 2% in GAAP revenues of $415 million driven by timing risk related to approximately 5%-8% in sales bookings of $450 million in the second half of the year. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report EBIT of $34 million and revenues of $410 million for the same period.
