The Company's previous guidance for fourth quarter revenue was in the range of $18-$22 million. Diluted earnings per ADS (EPS) are now expected to be approximately breakeven. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts are expecting the Company to report revenue of $20.15 million and EPS of $0.04 for the same period. The Company cited lower sales in the current macroeconomic environment and less-favorable exchange rates against US dollars as the primary reason for this negative guidance.

Actions Semiconductor Company., Ltd. announced that it has entered a strategic software agreement with China's GPS map provider, Ritu Information Systems, Inc. (Ritu). Actions will incorporate Ritu's Linux-based mapping software and navigation system onto its Series 13 controller integrated circuits (ICs). This software agreement will allow Actions solutions to support GPS applications for a variety of end market products.
