Alvarion Ltd. announced that it has been selected by Adam Internet to deploy a WiMAX network across metropolitan Adelaide, Australia. Adam Internet is building a wireless broadband network as part of the Australian government`s Broadband Guarantee Program aimed at providing services to all Australian residents. The network will deliver high speed broadband services to subscribers across an approximate 5000 square kilometer area of metropolitan Adelaide.

(USA) announced that for the fourth quarter of 2009, it expects revenue to be in the range of $55-$63 million, non-GAAP per share (EPS) to be in the range of a loss of ($0.04) and profit of $0.02 and expects GAAP per share results are expected to range between a loss of ($0.07) and ($0.01). Clearwire International, LLC Selects Alvarion Ltd. To Supply Mobile WiMAX 802.16e Solution
Alvarion Ltd. announced that it has been selected by Clearwire International, LLC, a holding entity of Clearwire Corporation, to supply its mobile WiMAX 802.16e solution for an initial deployment in Spain. Clearwire plans to offer 4G services there in selected urban areas during 2010, such as high-speed internet, VoIP and video to consumers and businesses. Under the agreement, Alvarion will supply Clearwire, its 4Motion Mobile WiMAX 802.16e solution that incorporates the WiMAX Forum Certified BreezeMAX platform for the 3.5 GHz frequency band. BreezeMAX is designed to optimize network efficiency and enable superior coverage.
