Arotech Corporation's FAAC Incorporated Receives $10.3 Million Award To Supply Law Enforcement Driving Simulators

FAAC Incorporated, part of Arotech Corporation's Training and Simulation Division, announced that it has received an award valued at $10.3 million from the California Department of General Services (DGS) to supply Law Enforcement Driving Simulators to the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards & Training (CA POST). FAAC will provide 108 high-fidelity driving simulators to be installed at 24 training centers across the state, including seven mobile training trailers. 

 
Arotech Corporation Announces $1.6 Million In New Battery And Charger Orders

Arotech Corporation announced that its Battery and Power Systems Division has received new orders totaling more than $1.6 million for batteries, chargers and state of charge indicators from a number of international customers. The various battery components will be used in communications equipment, night vision surveillance and to power unmanned air vehicle (UAVs).

Arotech Corporation Announces $1.5 Million in Battery and Charger Orders

Arotech Corporation announced that its Battery and Power Systems Division has received new orders in excess of $1.5 million for Lithium-Ion primary and rechargeable batteries, chargers and battery components. The order comes from a number of customers around the world and will be used in applications such as communication devices, night vision equipment and the powering of unmanned air vehicle (UAVs). 

 
Arotech Corporation's Armor Division Develops New Armored Vehicle

Arotech Corporation announced that its Armor Division has developed a new armored vehicle, aimed at the defense market in India. Arotech's joint venture in India, Concord Safety Systems, is conducted with MKU, India's armor materials supplier, and the JN Group, India's automotive body-builder. Concord was invited to participate in a tender for armored vehicles for the Indian Army. Arotech's Armor Division developed the new vehicle, the C8 Light Weight Armored Vehicle Solution (LWAV). The first prototypes were built at Concord's facility in Dehradun, India. The vehicles are currently undergoing testing at the Northern Command unit of the Indian Army. The vehicles are slated to be available to paramilitary and police forces in two months' time.
