AudioCodes Ltd. Announces VMAS - Voice Over IP Mobile Access Solutions for Service Providers
AudioCodes Ltd. announced the launch of VMAS, a new family of Mobile VoIP Solutions which comprises a variety of Mobile Soft Clients and a Client Management System (CMS) for Mobile Operating Systems and Smartphones. AudioCodes' VMAS CMS provides carriers with a client distribution and back-end management system. In addition, AudioCodes VMAS clients support various mobile operating systems such as Symbian, Windows Mobile, Apple OS and others. AudioCodes VMAS is available for smartphones like iPhone, iPod Touch, Nokia, Samsung, HTC and others.

AudioCodes announced that it expects revenues for the fourth quarter of 2009 to be around 5% more than the third quarter revenues level. AudioCodes and BroadSoft, Inc., announced a strategic initiative that will simplify the deployment and installation of IP voice networks, greatly reducing the time it takes for service providers and large enterprises to deploy advanced IP voice services. Through this initiative, BroadSoft(R) and AudioCodes seek to expand the addressable market for advanced IP voice networks by removing complex installation barriers, which typically keep smaller carriers from moving forward with deployments. This collaboration tightly integrates AudioCodes Media Gateways, Multi-Service Business Gateways (MSBGs) and IP Phones with BroadSoft's BroadWorks(R) VoIP application platform and VoIP Quality of Service (QoS) solutions -- eliminating many tedious configuration and maintenance processes, as well as quality of service issues that typically plague multi-vendor solutions.
AudioCodes and MailVision Cooperate to Introduce iPico SIP Mobile Client for iPhone and iPod touch
AudioCodes and and MailVision, a provider of SIP Mobile Platform for Wireless and NGN Service Providers, announced that iPico, a mobile SIP client solution developed by MailVision, is compatible with iPhone and iPod touch. iPico is currently available at Apple's App Store. Other devices such as the Nokia (Symbian) and Windows mobile phones are already supported and deployed.
