Avago Technologies Limited Raises Q4 2009 Revenue Guidance

Avago Technologies Limited announced that it now expects fourth quarter 2009 revenue to be up 15% from the third quarter of 2009. Previous guidance had been for revenue to be up in the range of 7% to 10% sequentially. The improvement in forecasted results for the fourth quarter 2009 is primarily the result of stronger than anticipated sales in the wired infrastructure and consumer and computing peripherals end markets. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $396 million for the fourth quarter of 2009.
