BSQUARE Corp. announced its role as a lead systems integrator for Coca-Cola Freestyle, a software-driven fountain dispenser from The Coca-Cola Company. Currently in testing in the United States, Coca-Cola Freestyle brings technology to consumers by offering upwards of 100 sparkling and still branded beverage selections from one machine. Rich graphical user interfaces make the dispenser attractive for all types of users including consumers, restaurant operators and field service technicians. Over the past two years, Bsquare has provided consulting, architecture, services and products to develop the dispenser.
BSQUARE Corp. Renews OEM Distribution Agreement With Microsoft
BSQUARE Corp. announced that it has renewed its OEM distribution agreement with Microsoft Corporation under which Bsquare sells Microsoft's complete line of software products for embedded systems to OEMs in North America. The new agreement is effective for a six-month period July 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009 at which time Microsoft anticipates introducing updated agreements for its distributors. Through the sale of embedded operating systems under the agreement, Bsquare enables OEMs to successfully adopt Microsoft software products including Windows Embedded CE, Windows Embedded Standard, XP Pro for Embedded Systems and Windows Embedded Server. Bsquare serves OEMs in a broad range of traditional vertical markets including point of sale, medical and gaming.
