Capella Education Company announced that it has named Kevin Gilligan as the Company's Chief Executive Officer. He will start by March 5, 2009. The Company's founder Stephen G. Shank, who turned 65 in December 2008, had previously indicated his intention to retire from the Chief Executive Officer position.
