Deluxe Corporation announced that for fourth quarter of 2009, it expects revenue to be between $326-$341 million, diluted earnings per share (EPS) to be between $0.53-$0.63 and adjusted diluted EPS to be between $0.54-$0.64, which excludes an estimated $0.01 of transaction-related costs. For fiscal 2009, it expects revenue to be between $1.330-$1.345 billion, diluted EPS to be between $1.87-$1.97 and adjusted diluted EPS to be between $2.27-$2.37 which excludes an estimated $0.40 related to asset impairment charges, restructuring and transaction-related costs and net gains on repurchases of long-term debt. The Company expects fiscal 2010 revenue to be down low to mid-single digits as compared to fiscal 2009, which is expected to produce adjusted diluted EPS ranging from a low single digit decline to low single digit growth. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenues of $346 million and EPS of $0.62 for fourth quarter of 2009; revenues of $1.353 billion and EPS of $2.21 for fiscal 2009; revenues of $1.334 billion and EPS of $2.35 for fiscal 2010.
