Ecology & Environment, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a contract agreement for consultant services from the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). This $4.5-million contract encompasses hazardous waste and UST investigations at sites of planned IDOT construction activities, oversight of emergency response actions to incidents at IDOT facilities, evaluation of corrective and remedial actions and costs, compliance assessments, and implementation of remedial programs. E & E has already received five work orders under this new contract, which will be conducted primarily by the Firm's Chicago-based staff.
