eHealth, Inc. announced a technology partnership with CareCounsel, a provider of employer-sponsored healthcare assistance and advocacy services. eHealth, Inc. revised fiscal 2009 revenue and GAAP net income per diluted share guidance. Total revenue is expected to be in the range of $134 to $136 million, compared to previous guidance of $131 to $136 million and GAAP net income per diluted share is expected to be in the range of $0.53 to $0.61 per share, compared to previous guidance of $0.51 to $0.61 per share. Utah Health Insurance Exchange To Utilize eHealth, Inc. 's Technology Platform
eHealth, Inc. announced that it has entered into an agreement with the State of Utah to use eHealth's internet platform and technology to connect Utah residents to individual health insurance through the state's planned Utah Health Exchange located at http://www.exchange.utah.gov. The agreement provides for the state's online insurance exchange to link to a designated online portal from eHealth that will support the selection of, and enrollment in, private individual and family health insurance. The eHealth technology platform will be an online destination for residents to view a comprehensive selection of private individual and family health insurance plans in Utah and utilize consumer-friendly decision-support tools such as plan comparisons, physician choice, information resources and online applications and approvals.

eHealth, Inc. announced the licensing of eHealth's eCommerce On-Demand (eOD) technology to Mercy Health Plans, Inc. (MHP), a subsidiary of the Sisters of Mercy Health System (Mercy). Under the agreement, Mercy Health Plans' brokers and agents in Arkansas and Missouri will use eHealth's eOD platform to prepare quotes and submit applications for individual and family health insurance plans to Mercy Health Plans, using a broker website designed and powered by eHealth.
