Energy Recovery, Inc. announced that its PX Pressure Exchanger (PX) devices will be implemented in the seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant in Tenes, Algeria. To be constructed by Befesa, the plant will produce 200,000 m3 (52.8 million gallons) of water per day.

Energy Recovery, Inc. announced that its PX Pressure Exchanger (PX) devices will be implemented at the Southern Seawater Desalination Plant (SSDP) in Western Australia. To be constructed by the Southern Seawater Alliance (SSWA), a joint venture between Técnicas Reunidas Australia Pty Ltd, Valoriza Water Australia Pty Ltd, AJ Lucas Operations Pty Ltd, and Worley Parsons Services Pty Ltd - the plant will be built in Binningup and will provide 140,000 m3 (37 million gallons) of fresh water per day to residents of the greater Perth region.

Energy Recovery, Inc. announced that its PX Pressure Exchanger (PX) devices have been selected by IDE Technologies as it expands its seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) desalination plant in Hadera, Israel. IDE selected the Company's PX technology as part of the initial plant design, and will rely on the devices to reduce energy consumption as the plant expands from a daily production capacity of 388,000 m3 (102.5 million gallons) to 462,000 m3 (122 million gallons) in total.

Energy Recovery, Inc. announced that its PX Pressure Exchanger (PX) devices have been selected for use in the expansion of Palmachim`s 115,000 m3/d desalination plant. The plant was built according to a 25-year BOO (Build, Operate, Own) tender by the Via Maris Desalination Consortium (a partnership between Granite Hacarmel Investments, Tahal Group, Ocif and Metco) and is now expanding its capacity to 144,000 m3 (38.05 million United States gallons) per day.
