Elbit Systems Ltd. announced, further to the announcement on July 20, 2009, that after receiving all the applicable approvals it completed the acquisition of the assets of BVR Systems (1998) Ltd. for a price of approximately USD 34 million.

Reuters reported that further to reporting higher-than-expected quarterly net profit, boosted by increased revenue and lower financial expenses and taxes, Elbit Systems Ltd. said it was optimistic that fiscal 2010 would be a better year than fiscal 2009. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts were expecting the Company to report revenue of $3.168 billion and net profit of $221.34 million for fiscal 2010.

Elbit Systems of America, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elbit Systems Ltd., announced award of an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-priced contract, to provide 100W power amplifiers (PA) for the Digital Modular Radio (DMR) program. The contract has a potential value of up to $11.4 million over a five-year period. The DMR is a compact, multichannel standard software-defined radio that provides several radio communications waveforms and multilevel information security for voice and data communications. Digital modular radios operate aboard the Navy's surface and subsurface vessels, fixed sites and other DoD communication platforms using frequencies ranging from 2MHz to 2GHz
Elbit Systems Ltd. Completes $18 Million Acquisition for 19% of Mikal Ltd.
Elbit Systems Ltd. announced that further to its announcement on June 15 2009, that after receiving all the appropriate approvals (or authorizations), the $18 million loan that was granted to Mikal Ltd., was converted to an equity investment, and Mikal will issue approximately 19% of its shares to Elbit Systems Ltd. As part of the agreement, Elbit Systems Ltd. was granted the option to purchase the remaining shares of Mikal from the other shareholders, in the course of 2011, for a purchase price to be determined in accordance with an independent external valuation.
