Global Industries, Ltd. Receives $70 Million Project In Brazil

Global Industries, Ltd. announced that its Brazil Business Unit has signed a contract with Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras) for diving, ROV and construction services to be performed offshore Brazil, in the areas of Campos, Santos and Espirito Santo basins. The 180-day contract is valued at approximately $70 million and has an option for an extension of up to six additional months.

Levos will step down from his position as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in mid November after concluding thirdquarter financial reporting activities, including filing the Company's 10Q. Mr. Levos will then remain employed with the Company for a period to ensure an orderly transition of his responsibilities.

Fluor Corporation announced that Fluor Offshore Solutions has joined forces on an exclusive basis with Global Industries, Ltd. to pursue offshore oil & gas projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The consortium will leverage the combined strengths of both Fluor Offshore Solutions and Global Industries in the areas of engineering, project management, procurement, construction, construction management, transportation and installation and commissioning services for offshore oil & gas projects. 

 
Shell Offshore Inc. Awards Project To Global Industries, Ltd.

Global Industries, Ltd. announced that it has been awarded a project by Shell Offshore Inc. for the decommissioning and abandonment of an 8-pile production platform located in Eugene Island 331 A in approximately 250 FSW in the Gulf of Mexico. The vessels involved in this project have begun mobilization for an immediate commencement of the job.

Global Industries, Ltd. announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Global Offshore International Ltd., has been awarded a two-year contract with The Shipping Corporation of India Ltd. (SCI) for diving services, personnel, and equipment maintenance to be performed offshore India aboard three Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) vessels. The contract is valued at approximately USD35 million and has an option to be extended for up to six additional months.
