Integra LifeSciences Reaffirms FY 2009 Guidance

Integra LifeSciences announced that it is updating its GAAP earnings per share guidance and reiterating its revenue and adjusted earnings per share guidance for fiscal 2009. The Company continues to anticipate revenues between $680 million and $700 million. The Company is guiding to GAAP earnings per diluted share of between $1.59 and $1.79 and to adjusted earnings per diluted share of between $2.00 and $2.20. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $681 million, EPS of $2.11, GAAP EPS of $1.72 for fiscal 2009. 

 
Integra LifeSciences Launches CUSA ShearTip For Fibrous Tissue

Integra LifeSciences announced the launch of the CUSA ShearTip for its CUSA EXcel Ultrasonic Surgical Tissue Ablation platform that includes the CUSA EXcel and the CUSA EXcel+ systems. The CUSA ShearTip has received 510(k) clearance from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and CE Mark Certification in the European Union. The CUSA ShearTip(TM) is designed to remove tough and tenacious, collagen-rich fibrous tissue that is resistant to fragmentation with traditional ultrasonic tips. This includes fibrous meningiomas and connective tissues.

Integra LifeSciences announced the launch of 5.5mm Coral cobalt chrome rods in a range of lengths for use in spinal correction and fusion procedures. With the addition of cobalt chrome rods, the Coral Spinal System now offers three rod options, which also include rigid and malleable titanium rods. 

 
Integra LifeSciences Launches PANTA XL Arthrodesis Nail

Integra LifeSciences announced the launch of the Panta XL Arthrodesis Nail, a solution for tibiotalocalcaneal (TTC) arthrodesis. The Panta XL Nail has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and a CE Mark Certification in the European Union. The Panta XL Arthrodesis Nail is a complement to the current Panta product line, incorporating longer lengths and a conical extremity shape designed to reduce stress at the proximal tip of the nail.
