ICx Technologies, Inc. Reaffirms FY 2009 EBITDA Guidance; Lowers FY 2009 Revenue Guidance

ICx Technologies, Inc. reconfirmed its earlier annual adjusted EBITDA guidance of $5-$8 million for fiscal 2009. Based on the delay in the DoD budget process, as well as possible delays in certain international sales and discontinued operations, the Company is revising its annual revenue guidance for fiscal 2009, to a range of $180-$190 million. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $196 million for the same period.

ICx Technologies, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a $3.6 million contract for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA). As part of the contract, ICx will provide both Griffin and ChemSense instruments for installation in the Pentagon. 

 
ICx Technologies, Inc. Announces Award of Detect To Protect Contract For Mass Transit Security

ICx Technologies, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) contract to participate in a FY 2010 mass transit security pilot program. The focus of this pilot deployment is to test new sensors that can rapidly detect and identify the potential release of a bio threat agent as part of the DHS S&T Detect to Protect (D2P) Project. The D2P Project is focused on developing rapid biological detection technologies and sensor network architectures for indoor environments. For this pilot deployment, a network of rapid response bio-detectors will be evaluated in a mass transit system. The pilot program is anticipated to begin in early 2010. As part of the program activities, ICx will provide IBAC real time biological aerosol threat monitors and additional advanced prototype sensor hardware. The IBAC is a continuously operating indoor or outdoor monitor that provides early warning of an airborne biological agent attack. The IBAC facilitates the process of identifying bio-terror agents to allow timely containment, treatment and remediation.

ICx Technologies, Inc. reconfirmed fiscal 2009 revenue guidance and slightly adjusted its EBITDA guidance. The Company expects revenue to be $190 - $200 million and adjusted EBITDA to be $5 - $8 million. According to Reuters Estimates, analysts on an average were expecting the Company to report revenue of $193 million for the same period. 

 
ICx Technologies, Inc. Wins $6.8 Million Contract from U.S. Army To Provide Fido XTi Systems To Afghanistan`s National Army and Police

ICx Technologies, Inc. announced that the U.S. Army has purchased Fido XTi explosives-detection systems for use by the Afghan National Army and the Afghan National Police. As part of the contract, the Company will also provide in-country training and support services. The Company began shipping units at the end of June.
